M&L portable, concrete beam testers are great quality control devices, which allow the quick and accurate determination of flexural strengths of test beams on-site or in the lab. These hydraulically-driven units, which use the center-point loading method, provide continuous readings to the point of failure while also retaining the maximum reading for accuracy. These beam testers are available in two types of models, those that provide a continuous load and comply with ASTM C293 and those that do not supply a continuous load and thus do not comply with ASTM C293. While the continuous load models are more accurate, the non-continuous load models are also very useful as a quality control check. All models are available for all the popular beam sizes in use today.
